Our process is to:

1) Define your value stream/process (from seed to ship & collect)

2) Identify the wastes and challenges

3) Eliminate the wastes and problems

Step 1: Define your Value Stream/process

• We always start with a high-level assessment of your business including financials and discuss the results with you
• Then we can start in one of two ways; 1) we can narrow our attention based on what you think needs focus now or 2) we go forward with evaluating the total business process.
• Once we have a direction, we jointly create a value stream map and ID opportunities for improvement
• We provide training in lean production principles and tools, so once we are gone you can continue to improve.

Step 2:  Identify the wastes and challenges

• Once we have the ID’d the areas of focus from the VSM (value stream map) we dive into each area sequentially, according to your priority.
• We use lean manufacturing principles and tools
• We continue to train your people, who are your most valuable asset
• We observe the flow, we do the work, and we interview employees and leaders.

Step 3: Eliminate the wastes and problems

• We start with 5S which is a business wide organization effort. 
• We conduct Kaizen blitzes to improve the focus area as a group. 
• We develop spaghetti maps to understand your physical flow of equipment, materials, people, and information
• We identify opportunities for improvement and discuss them with leadership for implementation
• We drive the implementation of the changes and help leadership sustain the gains.
